Regional Fishery Biologist

DUTIES:
-- Collects and interpret life history, habitat data, and research data for various fish species and prepares reports.

-- Provides input and management plans and land-acquisition priorities for fisheries projects.

-- Reviews and comments on environmental impact statements.

-- Investigates and reports on fish kills including pesticide and pollution incidents.

-- Conducts fish salvage and planting operations.

-- Monitors stream-channel alterations.

-- Provides information regarding fish resources, regulations, and policies various groups and the public

Minnesota AIDS Project - Case Manager

The Minnesota AIDS Project (MAP) is seeking a full-time Case Manager to work both in the Twin Cities and St. Cloud. The position is responsible for comprehensive client need assessments, risk reduction education, client advocacy, HIV disease and medical care education, identification of mental/chemical health issues and other client issues including end of life needs. Travel required for home visits in both locations. This position requires building successful working relationships with clients, medical and other social service providers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To qualify applicants MUST meet the following requirements:

  • Four year degree: major in plant pathology
    OR scientific discipline that include at least 20 semester hours in basic botany or plant science, and 10 semester hours in plant pathology
  • In addition to the above requirements, applicants MUST also have directly related education or specialized experience as outlined below:
  • GS-11: Master's or equivalent graduate degree OR 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-9 grade level
  • GS-12: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level
  • GS-13: 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade

  • Submit a copy of college transcript
    OR
  • Submit a list of college courses with: name of course; year taken; credit hours; and grade received
